Agree with most of what you say but hate the huge white sports shoes! Still wearing heels with dresses for evenings & events.

Loved your article. It was uplifting and oh so very true I will take inspiration from it, we are in lockdown at the moment in Sydney so no going out to the shops! I will get up in the morning and decide what to wear as if I am going to meet friends instead of just something old and sloppy! Thank you Tricia.

Hi Tricia I love reading your blogs, and I particularly agree with the last part of this one. As I will be 87 in November that doesn’t stop me from putting LFF makeup on every day, even if I am just going gardening, I makes me feel so much better. Like the rest of us I have not been able to get out and about because of the pandemic, but I always feel that is no excuse to let yourself go, so thanks for the blog, and guess what I have even treated myself to a pair of Toolally earring. Best Wishes Maureen White

Tricia, you look terrific in all of your outfits. Like you, I try not to fit into the older woman stereotype, and wear what I like, although its all too easy to find myself buying similar styles when I go shopping. I cycle to the shops (much easier than by car)most days, as well as cycling around the local countryside regularly, but always wear my normal clothes, even skirts at times, no shorts or lycra for me. As I need to be seen by motorists,( I always ride on the road ) most of my winter jackets or summer tops are light or bright, as I refuse to wear "dayglo" vests. I also always wear makeup, whether in lockdown or not. Can't imagine wearing pyjamas or joggers all day!!!
