Eye Makeup For Hooded Eyes
What Are Hooded Eyes?
Eyes appear hooded when the skin on the eyelid has loosened and drooped over the socket line. When our eyes become hooded we lose the natural crease between the lid and the brow, and limits the amount of lid space onto which we can apply eyeshadow. This causes some women to struggle to apply eyeshadow to hooded eyes.
Â
However, making a few small adjustments to the way that you apply your makeup, you can reshape your eyes and make them appear bigger...

Step 1
Brush your eyebrows with a Spoolie Brush and use Bring Back Brow Shape to add individual brow hairs, shaping the tail of your brow upwards for lift
Step 2
Blend a little Smooth Out Eye Prime over your eyelids to neutralise your skin toneÂ
Step 3
Apply a pale shade of No Shimmer Eye Shade all over both eyelids and up towards your brow bone
Step 4
Select a mid-shade of eye shadow and with a firm brush create an ‘arc’ of colour where your socket line would naturally be and then blend it out using a softer brush
Step 5
Achieve extra definition by adding a small amount of the darkest eye shadow to the top and bottom of the lash line using a wedge brush
Step 6
For eyes that stand out, curl your eyelashes with eyelash curlers and add a few coats of mascara
