How do you feel about your hair now that you are older? These days most women under 40 have long hair which is associated with being sexy, attractive and 'hot'. Whilst short hair on young women is seen as slightly rebellious and edgy. But what about when you are no longer seen as either hot or edgy because you are 'past it'?

Thank you for your reply Martha - I love your enthusiasm (especially for Look Fabulous Forever) and also for life - I really agree with "do it for yourself not for others." I just feel better in myself when my hair looks good and I have my 'face' on - regardless of whether I am going out or not. Maybe I will meet you one day when I am in France!

Having had a very long time to think about this..63 years,I knew I wouldn't cover it totally, to lazy. So I had highlights of my natural colour put it in. So I didn't have to worry about it growing out too quickly..that was in my fifties.
Then I said "enough" very expensive. I didn't want a playmobile haircut.
I asked my hair dresser to cut it super short leaving almost no colour. He remodernised the pixie I had in 60's and 70's leaving it in softer angles.
I think having an excelllent cut is the key! I have more people notice and compliment me on how I look but they can't quite figure out what it is...but with LLF we all know.
I love the new me, I have never had lots of confidence about my looks but now I am.
There is a knock on effect about how we want to dress now and I love all the changes. I feel at least ten years younger and much more motivated than I have in years.
Ladies, do it for your self, not for others and you will find out that the other's are thrilled for you! I love my new grey hair, sometimes a little blue to make sure the yellow shade doesn't show up but hurray for grey hair !
ps if you hair is thin there exists powder that come in at least ten shades, that you can sprinkle where you hair is thinning a little and it stay's in all day, no more pink sclap showing threw!
Now it is up to us to show the world that we are beautiful, condfedient, and dressed how we want. It is a total look that Tricia has given us..a marvelous gift !! Get ready to Wow them!
