Six Steps to Beautiful Eyes

Eye makeup is probably the most challenging aspect of makeup for the majority of older women.

So, let's look at the best approaches to eye makeup when the ageing process has changed the texture of the skin of our eyelids, and the quality and thickness of eyelashes and eyebrows.

Step 1

Apply our Smooth Out Eye Prime as a smoother to create the perfect base for the eye makeup and to help eye shadows from migrating into creases. Blend it with your fingers or a Concealer Brush.

Step 2

Apply No Shimmer Eye Shades to shape the eye. Start with a pale colour on the lid, then add a slightly darker colour on the socket line (or where the socket line should be if your eyes have become more hooded). Create a dark triangular shading to create the illusion of a bigger more open eye. Blend thoroughly with a clean brush.

Step 3

A pop of Sheer Brilliance Lid Colour brightens the whole eye when applied to the inner corner of your eye and blended well with the eye shadows you use.

Step 4

Add definition to your lash line to create the image of thicker fuller lashes. This is where you apply the darkest colour such as (Charcoal, Aubergine, Chocolate and Forest). Push the colour into the roots of your lashes, not worrying too much about precision as it can look good if it's a bit smudgy.
