Just read all. How are we to believe all what’s been said. My hubby has rosacea, he is 75, young smart agile, walks, garden, go to France a lot to see my son and his French family . He’s strong. Why, I look after him. Creams creams, he is now on long term antibiotics which my daughter in law ( French doctor) says it’s ok. So did our doctor in Nottinghamshire. He was an engineer and worked well well respected, worked all over. He went back to work two days, as the 5people who took over can’t cope. He loves it. Will finish when he’s ready. Me ? 69 fit as him and busy. I finished working with social services when I was 60. Love love being home. Although I deliver prescriptions when and if they need me. So that’s an insight of us. In short, what have your creams got better than, all the high end cream. Or Boots etc. Love following, just I can’t get my head around when every one says blar blar. Regards rosemary

Hi Rosemary Not too sure what you are saying here. But will try to clarify - My acne (which was much worse than the redness of rosacea) did not respond to antibiotics - which maybe your husbands did. Over the years I tried all sorts of topical solutions and just tried to use creams which didn't make it worse (like the Perricone). It was only when I made a connection between my sugar/carb loaded diet and my spots that my hard, painful lumpy spots start to dissipate. As to our creams. There are developments in skincare all the time. My thorough research of ingredients known to improve skin texture, increase hydration and genuinely benefit an older epidermis (the outer layer) were: Hyaluronic Acid first and foremost, peptides, retinol and certain vitamins - A, E and C in particular. I therefore asked that our skincare should have all of these as active ingredients. So - that's what is in our 3 products. And since using them every day, my skin is in really great shape - as those who have met me can testify! Triciax

I have had a similar experience by an enforced change to my diet a year ago when I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. The Dr thought I might be able to control it by diet and did not want to prescribe statins (which I did not in any event want to take). I gave up all fat and as a by product also gave up all puddings, biscuits, cakes etc. Having always had a sweet tooth and being married to one of those annoying men who like a pudding every night and has no health problems at all I was amazed that I can stick to this regime far more easily than I thought. Over a year later I have lost a lot of weight and my cholesterol although not perfect is much reduced. I am fortunate in not having skin problems which is perhaps why I admit to cheating a bit with 85% chocolate and wine! I eat lots of wholemeal bread and potatoes in addition to masses of fruit, veg fish, chicken and lean meat so do not feel deprived or hungry. It has been quite life changing for me and I certainly feel better for it. Thanks Tricia I agree that being the best we can be, naturally, is the way to go and in my opinion nothing beats a smile for taking the years off!

When can we expect the daytime cream to be available in the US? I understand it is having a hard time getting past the FDA? Thanks, Janet Chenoweth, HOUSTON, Texas

Yes Janet - we cannot export the Day Cream to the States because it contain sun protection factor and if it does so, it has to have been made in an FDA approved factory. It's very expensive for us to have a separate manufacturer for the States. We are looking at how ro proceed but for now - maybe ask anyone who comes to to the UK to bring you a supply (it last well!) It was only when I stopped treating my (at times severe) outbreaks of acne rosacea as a whole body problem and not just a skin condition that I started to experience an improvement. I think this should read "It was only when I STARTED treating ....." It's great that you have achieved such an improvement to your skin through diet and, better still, that you are also promoting healthier eating. LFF products can care for skin and enhance the external appearance but the real goodness can only come from within. Congratulations.

Very interesting blog post, thank you. Eat well, look good, feel good. Makes sense. Going off in a tangent, if possible can you please do a video on camouflaging under eye spider veins and the like. In particular how to stop bottom eyeliner/mascara mingling with concealer and cascading downwards to give a Panda look! Thanks very much.

You are absolutely right Carole - I have just checked my text and I put stopped instead of started in that - so it's 100% my fault! What shall I put it down to? A senior moment? Maybe I should just say that 'we all make silly mistakes from time too time'.... and hopefully you have all understood what I actually meant.' Anyway thanks to you and Sue for correcting it and I will make sure that Hannah (who is the team member who publishes my blogs for me) substitutes started for stopped on Monday. Tricia

Really enjoy the variety of your blogs. I expect someone has pointed the typo in your last one ‘ it was only when I started OR should it read ? STOPPED treating the roscea as just a skin problem. PS I’m sure you won’t run out of items for your blog but you are in a very good position to point the many women who might have the awkward problem of urinary leaking to the Scottish physio / comedian Elaine Millers informative and extremely effect website Gusset Gripers. Best wishes Sally
