Step 1 - Finish with Translucent Powder

Step 2 - Find the Right Lighting

Good lighting is key to a great selfie. Natural daylight is great for selfies; midday light or the soft glow of golden hour (just after sunrise or before sunset) works well. If you’re indoors, face a window or a light source like a ring light or lamp. Avoid fluorescent lighting, as it can cast unflattering blue or green hues

Step 3 - Smile Naturally

A genuine smile brightens your whole face. Whether you prefer showing your teeth or not, practice in front of a mirror to see what feels most natural. If your lips feel tense, take a deep breath and exhale to relax. Let your eyes smile too by gently lifting your forehead and eyebrows to keep them open and bright.

Step 4 - Find Your Best Angle

For a flattering selfie, hold your phone slightly above eye level, and tilt your chin down slightly. Look directly into the camera (usually at the top of your phone) rather than at the screen. Experiment with different angles to see what works best for you, sometimes a slight turn of the head can make all the difference.
